We created Bison with a vision that families benefit from 3 simple concepts. Plan, Protect, and Prosper. Bison was founded by The Terry and Kim Pegula Family Office known as East Asset Management in conjunction with operating partner Teton Capital Partners founded by Brad Ball and his team of executives.
As Terry Pegula rose from petroleum engineer to Billionaire Oil and Gas Entrepreneur, Philanthropist, and Professional Sports Team Owner the family was amazed to see all the products, services, and capabilities that became available to them. Bison seeks to make these family office tools available to Bison clients.

Darby is a graduate from the University of North Georgia with a B.A. in Communications with a focus in Public Relations. While at the University of North Georgia she spent time studying human relations, conflict management and organizational skills.
Darby joined Bison in 2022 as Office Manager with a primary focus on day to day activities of operations, including planning and coordinating with all of our teams. In 2023, she joined the Marketing team as Marketing Manager.
She enjoys spending her free time trying new places in the city, exploring nature and visiting the US National parks.
