We created Bison with a vision that families benefit from 3 simple concepts. Plan, Protect, and Prosper. Bison was founded by The Terry and Kim Pegula Family Office known as East Asset Management in conjunction with operating partner Teton Capital Partners founded by Brad Ball and his team of executives.
As Terry Pegula rose from petroleum engineer to Billionaire Oil and Gas Entrepreneur, Philanthropist, and Professional Sports Team Owner the family was amazed to see all the products, services, and capabilities that became available to them. Bison seeks to make these family office tools available to Bison clients.

Hayden serves as the Head of Corporate Development at Bison Holdings, where he leads the evaluation and execution of M&A transactions, in conjunction with his assessment and implementation of the firm’s strategic decisions. Hayden’s significant experience in the financial services industry has resulted in a consistent ability to enact successful inorganic growth initiatives within the corporate development function.
Prior to joining Bison, Hayden spent his time in the corporate development groups with both a private-capital-backed retail insurance broker, Inszone Insurance, and the insurance giant, Marsh McLennan. His focus at both firms was on the execution and origination of M&A transactions, the bulk of which were related to insurance brokerage, wealth management, and other financial services. During his tenure with both firms, he was actively involved in completing over 90 different transactions.
Preceding his time with Inszone and Marsh McLennan, Hayden spent a period of time with the boutique consulting firm, Alvarez & Marsal. While at A&M, his efforts were geared toward completing projects in a broad array of industries related to mergers & acquisitions, restructuring, and financial reporting.
Hayden is a graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology, where he received a business degree with a concentration in finance. Outside of work, Hayden spends the bulk of his time either on the water fly fishing, in the mountains snowboarding, or on the golf course.
