Bison was founded by The Terry and Kim Pegula Family Office known as East Asset Management in conjunction with operating partner Teton Capital Partners founded by Brad Ball and his team of executives.
As Terry Pegula rose from petroleum engineer to Billionaire Oil and Gas Entrepreneur, Philanthropist, and Professional Sports Team Owner the family was amazed to see all the products, services, and capabilities that became available to them. Bison seeks to make these family office tools available to Bison clients.

Richard is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Dominion Financial Solutions. He serves as an Independent Advisor Representative (IAR) in his role for Bison Wealth. In this role, he advocates and proactively advises his clients on investments, retirement and income planning, and estate planning strategies to develop plans that produce a comprehensive long-term result based on the clients’ individual goals.
It has been Richard’s passion for over 30 years to provide his clients with innovative and efficient strategies that provide the desired outcome that is in the Client’s Best Interest. As the Founder and Chief Executive Officer for Dominion Financial Solutions, Richard has built a successful organization that focuses on providing strong long-term relationships with his clients and employees through trust, integrity, financial education/literacy, and transparency. Dominion Financial Solutions has offices in Virginia Beach, Virginia and in Atlanta Georgia and serves clients in 31 states.
Richard earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance/Business and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Old Dominion University. He lives in Virginia Beach, Virginia and is an active member in the community participating in the Chartway Promise Foundation and the Old Dominion Athletic Association Foundation. He enjoys traveling, playing golf, general aviation, and attending college and professional sporting events.
