John joined Bison Wealth through Lakeview Capital Partners, Bison Wealth’s predecessor, in January 2022 as a Director, from J.W. Cole Financial, Inc.
John Picardi launched his career as a wealth manager and a financial planner in 2003. Today, John remains in the role of financial advisor, utilizing his background as a CPA to help integrate tax planning into his recommendations and solutions. He has multiple insurance and securities licenses, including investment advisor representative registrations, allowing him to customize even the most complex financial solutions for their clients. Prior to starting a career in wealth management, John spent a number of years as a corporate executive managing companies with divisions located in Australia, the UK, Belgium, Norway, Switzerland, China, Hong Kong and Singapore. As a CFO and COO he was instrumental in several merger and acquisition projects. John has also gained valuable insight over the years by working with business owners, learning first-hand what it’s like to operate a small business of his own. He started his professional career associated with a CPA firm that focused on small to medium sized businesses, affording him the opportunity to advise business owners on both financial and tax matters.
John and wife, Sue, have been together since high school and have two wonderful daughters and an amazing grandson. The Picardi’s are active in the community where Sue was on the Board of Directors for the Kennesaw Business Association and John served as the Chairman of the Board for The Enrichment for Life Movement (ELM), a school of over 500 seniors that take classes on many subjects of interest to them. John also volunteered to teach a class at ELM on various financial topics specifically geared toward seniors. John was the past Treasurer (2 times) of the Marietta Business Association. John served on the Board of Directors for the Brookstone Men’s Golf Association where he served as Treasurer and President. In his leisure time John enjoys golf, reading, traveling and spending time with their family and friends
