Bison was founded by The Terry and Kim Pegula Family Office known as East Asset Management in conjunction with operating partner Teton Capital Partners founded by Brad Ball and his team of executives.
As Terry Pegula rose from petroleum engineer to Billionaire Oil and Gas Entrepreneur, Philanthropist, and Professional Sports Team Owner the family was amazed to see all the products, services, and capabilities that became available to them. Bison seeks to make these family office tools available to Bison clients.

Megan joined Bison Wealth via Lakeview Capital Partners in 2021 as a Senior Investment Analyst, utilizing her many years of experience as a Senior Portfolio Manager for Synovus Trust Company and its affiliated company, GLOBALT Investments.
Megan graduated from Georgia Institute of Technology with a B.S. in Applied Psychology, continuing her education with an M.B.A. in Finance from Georgia State University.
Megan began her career with Baldwin United, assisting with corporate leasing decisions for rolling stock and barges. After acquiring an interest in investments during graduate school, she furthered her career by joining Synovus Trust Company and managing client portfolios. Over time, she was added to the firm’s Investment Policy Committee as well as overseeing the trading function for Synovus Investment Advisors. In 2007, she joined GLOBALT Investments as a Senior Vice President, managing institutional fixed-income portfolios to include two Synovus mutual funds; the Synovus Fixed Income Bond Fund and the Synovus Georgia Municipal Bond Fund.
In 1990, she earned the right to use the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
Megan lives on a family farm near LaGrange Georgia and as a hobby is a USDA Certified Organic small-scale grower of vegetables and flowers.
